Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
It is crucial to upgrade your equipment to maximize the potential of your gear. It allows you to add additional stats to your item's base level value.
Each upgrade template comes with set of options which can be changed through the GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the chance to upgrade.
Upgrade components
The system for upgrading armor, weapons, and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 was redesigned as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are scattered throughout Night City. The item you wish to upgrade must also have an upgrade slot. The game will show an overview of the item's expected stats after upgrading. It will also show the required component or material. If you don't have the level or resource to upgrade an item, the button will read "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include weapons and armor, a few trinkets, and gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on every item, granting attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is utilized. These upgrades can be obtained by crafting, bought from a vendor, or obtained as an incentive.
There are two kinds of upgrades: universal and gemstones. Universal upgrades which are similar to gemstones can be put in any kind of equipment and provide less of a benefit than other types of upgrade components. They are easy to acquire by dropping them by enemies and robbed across the globe. Gems however are obtained by disassembling items or by completing certain missions.
Upgrades can be replaced by new upgrades inside a weapon's upgrade slot, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade. Except for glyphs, which may be inserted into gathering tools, all other upgrades are not able to be removed or salvaged once they are placed into an item. Infusions can be inserted into legendary and ascended equipment. Enrichments are only obtainable using a high-tier salvaging kit or an upgrade extractor.
Recycled Items
In the last two world wars, the scarcity of natural resources led the world to adopt recycling. It is now commonplace to recycle aluminum, paper and plastic, giving them new life as something different. Recycling conserves energy and stops carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. It's also a great method to avoid landfills and save natural resources. However, it is crucial to know what can be recycled and what cannot.
A common mistake that people make is putting things that are not appropriate in the recycling bin. These waste products not only pollute the water, but they could also harm recycling equipment. Reroll tokens

To roll a new item you need to click the dice icon next to the item you have in your inventory. Alternately, you can click the button in a different player's lobby and choose "Reroll". After rerolling the item, it will be removed from your inventory.
You can buy rerolls and other items in-game from Sagbe which is an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls by redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used to claim a variety of items such as Reroll Tokens and Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls are useful at the beginning of the game, when you are attempting to build up your inventory. However, they are not the most effective way to increase your character's stats. Instead, you should focus on getting more skill points. You can also get additional bonus points through the event stages.
You can also reroll the race of your character with a race-reroll token, which can be purchased from the Zen Market. Leveling

The NPC will show an upgrade option once the item reaches the maximum level. This will allow the player to upgrade the item to the next level by combining it with experience. When the upgrade is in progress while the upgrade is taking place, the NPC will display a window with two lines. The first line indicates the amount of Tech Points will be gained when upgrading the item while the second line displays an overview of the upgraded appearance. The preview may not be accurate if the item has mods. However, it will provide a rough idea.
The NPC will display the price to upgrade the item. The cost of Technology Points will be included when applicable. It will also show the cost of an Accelerator, if you own one. Accelerators are available on the Exchange. They increase the Tech Points gained from an upgrade by 50 percent. However this bonus doesn't apply to the item's quality Chance which is resets once the item reaches its target level.
The Upgrade NPC also provides an option to transfer gear. The Upgrade NPC will offer a gear transfer service. This allows players to save their experience and progress on a piece of equipment and transfer it to a different item in the same slot. This is helpful for players who wish to upgrade their gear but do not have the cash to purchase a brand new set.
